Stellar service and staff, paired with exquisite food, wine, and cocktails. We now meet friends regularly at the bar and have always been greeted with genuine friendliness starting with our fist visit nearly a year ago. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful, informative, and accommodating. Pedro, the sommelier, has made excellent recommendations based on his extensive knowledge of specific vineyards Portugal and beyond. The bar staff, Marta, Freddie, and Fabio are charming. The food is exceptional and consistent. This really has been one of the brightest spots we’ve enjoyed in Lisbon.

A very special highlight was the wine pairing, expertly curated by our sommelier, Leandro.
His knowledge, passion, and thoughtful explanations added incredible depth to the meal. Each wine complemented the dishes perfectly, enhancing the flavors and creating a seamless journey from start to finish.
Santa Joana is a must-visit in Lisbon for anyone who appreciates exceptional service, refined cuisine, and an unforgettable dining experience. We will absolutely be back!

What an amazing last dinner on our trip in Lisbon! The decor and vibe were fantastic. Service was impeccable. Major shout out to Camila for guiding us through the menu and Leandro for helping us pick the best wines. Make sure to order the steak and the chocolate mousse!

A true hidden gem. I absolutely love this place — it has an amazing vibe, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, both in taste and presentation.
The restaurant itself has a fantastic atmosphere and is located in an old monastery, which makes the experience even more special. The staff are outstanding and truly elevate the whole visit.
This is next-level luxury dining and entertainment. The speakeasy bar is a real highlight — great energy, an excellent sound system, and a stylish crowd with a relaxed, high-end feel. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and want to stay longer.
I also understand they offer rooms and suites, possibly like small apartments, which I’m definitely curious to explore next time.
This is one of my all-time favorite places, and I can’t wait to return.

i am a trained michellin star chef and i have worked with chefs like, Claire Smith, Jason Atherton, Peter Gilmore, Tom Aikens , Paco Roncero, Isaac mckale etc etc… i have known the food of Chef Nuno since his venture in London with Viajante. i was very excited to come and see what he was up to a Santa Joana and i truly liked all of it. True food, true flavours, great ideas well combined. The Waiter Vini was truly good, great energy, very professional , friendly and actually spent time to talk to us and give us a smile. The cocktails were great too… the Female bartender was very nice ,(i like mezcal and she listened and got just what i wanted… the perfect mezcal mule) the bar area upstairs very clean tidy but maybe misses a little vibe and energy.
i will come back when in Lisbona again… good job to everyone
